Our Story

Peter G Design was not born from a business plan.
It was born from a shift in life.

For years, creativity was part of my work as a sound engineer — shaped by a fast pace, constant movement and life on the road. When my son needed more support at school, that rhythm no longer worked, and staying closer to home became necessary.

Stepping away from full-time work also meant a significant financial shift, but being present for my family came first.

My son had been drawing since he was threeinstinctively, constantly, without limits. Being around that raw creativity every day became the spark to start drawing myself.

At home, I started drawing on my iPad.

At first, I worked directly from my son’s drawings — translating his ideas into wearable graphics while keeping their instinct intact. The first designs were raw translations of his world through my hand.

Then something clicked.

From Outlet to Identity

What started as a personal outlet slowly began to take shape as something more defined.

Some of the designs stayed very close to their origindrawings made by my son, kept deliberately raw and instinctive. They carry imagination without filters, untouched by strategy or refinement.

Others grew from a different place. Music, subculture and the visual language of rock ’n rollskulls, playing cards, jokers, symbols and characters that have always existed at the edges of skate- and counterculture.

These directions didn’t compete with each other.
They coexisted naturally.

What connected them was not a theme, but an approach.
Drawing first. Refining only what’s necessary. Letting restraint shape the final form.

Over time, this became a visual language rather than a single styleflexible enough to hold different ideas, but consistent in intent.

That was the moment Peter G Design moved from a creative outlet to a clear identity.

ElectricEel

I’ve always worn skate and surf T-shirts. Over the years, I found myself disappointed by what was out thereeither too generic and safe, or overloaded and chaotic.

So I started creating what I was missing.

Inspired by the graphic attitude of the ’70s and ’80s — bold but balanced, expressive but clean — ElectricEel took shape as a line rooted in movement, freedom and edge.

ElectricEel is the skate and surf line within Peter G Design.

Every piece is something I would wear myself.
If it doesn’t feel right, it doesn’t get made.

Authenticity Over Commercial Pressure

We don’t design based on “what sells most.”
We don’t follow seasonal hype cycles.
We don’t overproduce.

Every piece is made on demandonly when it’s ordered.

This reduces waste, prevents overstock and eliminates unnecessary transport.
It’s a conscious choice, financially and ecologically.

Peter G Design stands on three pillars:

  • Creative independence

  • Family-driven purpose

  • Conscious production

Some designs begin as a child’s drawing.
Others come from music, movement and subculture.

All of them are created with intention.

When you wear Peter G Design, you’re not wearing mass production.
You’re wearing intention.

This is only the beginning.
